What data we collect

• Location data — When you grant permission, we use your location to show nearby restaurants. Location is processed in your browser and is not stored on our servers.
• Email address — When you sign in with Apple or email, we store your email address to identify your account.
• Saved restaurant lists — Your saved restaurants are stored in Supabase with row-level security, meaning only you can access your data.
• Anonymous usage analytics (PostHog) — We collect anonymous analytics including pageviews, search queries, and filter usage to understand how people use the app and improve the experience.
• Basic web analytics (Vercel Analytics) — We collect page performance metrics and visitor counts to monitor app reliability.

Third-party services

Top Table uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — Authentication and database. Stores your account information and saved restaurants.
• PostHog — Product analytics. Collects anonymous usage data to help us improve the app.
• Vercel — Hosting and web analytics. Serves the app and collects basic performance metrics.
• Google Maps — Map tiles and place data. Provides restaurant locations, photos, and details.

Data retention

Your account data (email, saved restaurants) is kept until you request deletion. Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated — it is not tied to your identity and is retained in aggregate form for product improvement.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@gettoptable.com. Signing out of the app will stop any data collection tied to your account. You can also revoke location permissions through your browser or device settings at any time.
